Hazel Dalton, 95, of Fayetteville, formerly of Waupun, Wis., passed away to Eternal Life on Tuesday, June 17, 2008. Hazel was born Sept. 23, 1912, in Amsterdam, ID, to Arthur and Winnie Hull Peters.

From her youth until her move to Fayetteville, Hazel was a faithful member of the First Reformed Church in Waupun, a denomination that during those years consisted primarily of Dutch immigrants and their descendants.

Hazel attended Waupun schools, graduating in 1930 from Waupun High School. In 1935 she married Walter Dalton. They resided in Waupun all their married life, where they owned and operated Dalton TV and record store. In November 1978 Hazel moved to Fayetteville, where she became amember of University Baptist Church. She was a caring member of the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class at UBC, which provided her a core of goodfriends through the years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Dalton, in 1965. Survivors include three children, Norris Dalton, Gardie Dalton and David Dalton, all of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Amy Bearbower of Fayetteville and Dawn (David ) Bliss of Nashville, Tenn.; and four great-grandchildren, Savannah, Christian and Joshua Schneider, and Amy Grace Bliss. Family services were held June 21, 2008, in Waupun, Wis. Burial was in Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun, Wis
